I absolutely loved Uprising (Children of the Gods). It picked up where Oppression left off and was just nonstop action! At first I didn't really care for Elyse too much; however, she began to grow on me as more challenges were sent her way. She did crumble a few times in the book but pieced herself back together each time. She really grew in this book and I look forward to read more about her, her friends, and the new war.

Can't wait to finish. I am only half way done with it but getting excited at what is going. To happen next
This is a Good book if you liked the first one. Definitely has me anticipating the next book. When does it come out?
I wish there was more. I couldn't put this book down it was so full of action and suspense. I really enjoyed it and hope there is more of this series coming.
I loved reading this series. It was a great idea and the plot and characters were very well done. It kept me guessing but stayed intelligent.

Therrien has definitely upped the ante on the emotional pull of the main character, Elyse, in "Uprising". The choices she must make are not easy, and Therrien does an incredible job of capturing just how difficult her decisions are. Elyse's interactions with the other characters, in both romance and friendship, really ring true. I'm excited to read the next book and have no doubt Therrien will continue this storyline in a satisfying way.
